Most patients, about 95%, first see a Chiropractor for
musculo-skeletal pain such as back
pain, neck pain, or headache.
This is supported by a wide body of research.
A recent study published in the Journal of Manipulative
and Physiological Therapeutics suggest what many
Chiropractors and patients have maintained for some time,
there may be a wide range of positive effects of spinal
adjustment past musculo-skeletal pain relief. A national
survey of 1504 patients reports about 1 in 4 patients
experienced positive non-musculo-skeletal benefits after
chiropractic adjustments. Positive reactions included
respiratory, digestive system, circulatory, and vision
changes.
